NY part II: Still in the big Apple

Hey again!!

Still sharing New York with you. I know these snaps are probably very touristy, and would love to go back and learn about the "Real New York", but these are the basics and you have to start from somewhere!!

First stop, back to Central Park.

(The Mad Snapper is a bit of an Alice in Wonderland's fan)

And on to Soho/Little Italy/Nolita aka funky areas with LOTS of street art, which I love!

And came across some newbies for me, Cannoli. I have been to Italy but somehow had never come accross this dessert. Little Italy is full of them, including the famous Cannoli King at Caffe Palermo. And they go pretty well with a coffee and a rainy day!

This was probably the only day we had bad weather in the whole trip, but we still tried to carry on as it happened to be my birthday!!

Our crib for the days in the city had an amazing rooftop bar, mexican themed, so great Mojitos/Margaritas. Even if you weren't staying at the pod, the bar on the top floor is worth a visit!

The man friend loves burgers, so we tried to find a local burger joint, and this was a cracking find! Bareburger, a regional chain, serving casual eco-minded organic burgers from beef to bison and other rare burgers.

The trip had to be finished with a flight up the Empire State. See you soon New York!!
